Metcalf Commercial Decorators has been a preferred supplier to our  group of healthcare companies for over 20 years.  In the early years services were predominantly focused on internal and external decoration. More recently,  the company has been running a large number of substantial refurbishment projects across the group. These involve overseeing all aspects of the works (across all disciplines) and running the job from inception to completion.

We have worked with Metcalf decorators on various types of building including Grade 1 listed churches, a Grade 1 listed museum and extensive refurbishment works including a conversion of a large Victorian vicarage into  a day nursery and refurbishment works in an existing mental health hospital. As architects our reputation is built on attention to detail through the design process to the completion of a project. Metcalf decorators always achieve the high quality finish that we look for. They engage willingly in a collaborative approach offering advice when required and take on board some of the more challenging architectural requirements in a positive manner. The recently completed works at Abington Museum in Northampton demonstrated their active involvement in achieving a successful colour scheme through various tests and samples to create the desired effect. Their workmen are always polite and helpful and in particular director Ian Metcalf is always on hand to assist and help when required.  Whether they are appointed directly through a competitive tender process or appointed as a subcontractor we know Metcalf’s will deliver a high quality finish.
