Internal Redecoration of All Saints' Church, Brixworth

All Saints Church, Brixworth

Metc alf have recently carried out some internal redecoration to the beautiful Grade I Listed All Saints' Church in Brixworth. Works involved decorating to the West and North walls and the decorative arches. We worked alongside the church to ensure that services could still take place.

Dear Sirs

On behalf of the Parochial Church Council and congregation of All Saints Brixworth I wish to express our thanks for the standard of work that you have just carried out on the west and north walls and in the Apse of the church. Yesterday everyone, including visitors, were very complementary and expressed appreciation as to the end result. A lot of us were concerned that, especially the panels, would detract from the church but the result enhances the environment of the building.

Additionally, thanks are due to the two craftsmen who undertook the work. They left the church tidy each evening and were so accommodating in working around weekday services. Hope they enjoyed the cheese scones.

External Redecoration of Nursery

Caring Kindergartens - Stratford upon Avon

We have recently carried out a full external redecoration including masonry, joinery, guttering and downpipes to a nursery in Stratford upon Avon for Caring Kindergartens. As this was a live site we worked closely with the nursery to ensure that the children were safe at all times. Works were also carried out to the roof including replacement chimney pots and repointing to the chimneys where required, inspections of lead flashing and roofing and repairs were made where necessary.

We recently engaged with Metcalf to carry out significant external works at our fully operational day nursery, and we could not be more pleased with the results. From the outset, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, careful planning, and a genuine understanding of the unique challenges involved in working around young children and staff.

The work was completed to a high standard, with safety and minimal disruption clearly prioritised throughout. The team maintained excellent communication, ensuring we were informed at every stage and that our concerns were addressed promptly. Their attention to detail, respect for our environment, and ability to deliver on time were truly commendable.

We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing construction services in sensitive or operational environments.

New Staff Kitchen & Redecoration of Nurture Room

Spratton CE Primary School

We have recently carried out some more work for Spratton CE Primary School. This included the redecoration of their nurture room and stripping out the old kitchen to the staff room and creating a fresh new kitchen area for them. The school were very pleased with the finished result and the head teacher said 'Just to say how delighted we are with the new kitchen area and decoration of the nurture room over the holidays. As always, your teams were so fantastic to work with and went the extra mile for me. I am so grateful.'

Refurbishment of Front of House Bathrooms

Front of House Bathroom Refurbishment

We carried out the refurbishment of the front of house Accessible WC, Ladies and Men's bathrooms for a Client in Harrow. Works included the stripping out of all existing sanitaryware, fixtures and fittings, IPS, flooring, tiles and lighting. New LED lighting was installed along with new sanitaryware including a new Corian trough sink and wall panelling. The accessible WC had a new access system to the door with lock and automatic close.

Spratton CE Primary School

During the summer 2024 holiday we carried out some internal redecoration works at Spratton CE Primary School. The school hall had a refresh including the removal of the rope track, stage lights and wiring and blocking up a single glazed window before a full redecoration. Works to the library included blocking up a doorway and demolishing a half height wall to open up the room, new ceiling, lighting and flooring and a full redecoration.
